The effect of rhizobium on bacteria surrounding soybeans, their antibiotic properties, and the rhizobium’s antibiotic properties were tested by collecting soil samples from a tomato, soybean plant, and open field soil. Our results show that there is not a significant difference between each trial sample; however, after an outlier sample was excluded from the group, there was a significant difference.
