World Health Day on April 7 celebrates the anniversary of the founding of the World Health Organization (WHO) in 1928. Each year for World Health Day, the WHO organizes a campaign to increase awareness of prevalent global health issues. “Together for health. Stand for science,” is this year’s campaign motto to celebrate the power of scientific collaboration and the necessity of a One Health approach toward protecting the health of people and the planet.
Governments, scientists, health workers, students, and the public can help advance the WHO’s World Health Day campaign goals.
