Each year, Tiny Earth holds symposia to showcase students’ Tiny Earth research presentations and engage Tiny Earth community, sponsors, and leaders across industry, academia, and healthcare in learning more about antibiotic resistance and the science of student sourcing discovery. Tiny Earth Symposia act as a locus for the global Tiny Earth Network to meet and form connections, foster mentorships, and discover new opportunities!
Students have the opportunity to share their research to the Tiny Earth network in the spring and fall at virtual and in-person symposia. Likewise, instructors share and collaborate on teaching practices and curriculum development at these events. During the Winter Symposium, typically held in Titletown, Green Bay, Wisconsin, we invite parents, faculty, partners, and community members in addition to students and instructors for a wider celebration of antibiotic discovery and student research.
