Campus Transportation Tips

UW-Madison is a highly walkable and beautiful campus. The residence hall is located near the Discovery Building (~15 min walk). For additional transportation, try the Madison BCycle e-bike rentals, the free campus bus (route 80), or Madison Metro city buses ($2 per ride).

Alternative Lodging

If you to lodge elsewhere, you are responsible for costs. We recommend the Fluno Center, which is the campus conference center. Other options include Hampton Inn, Graduate Hotel, or Doubletree Hotel. They are all a 10-15 min walk from the conference site and reasonably priced.

Madison, Wisconsin Weather Tips

Remember to dress for ever-changing Wisconsin weather. Thunderstorms and hot, muggy days are common during summer months. The event site is air conditioned and will be comfortable.
