Under the mentorship of TEPI Angelo Kolokithas, two Tiny Earth students, Justyna Kakol and Mainor Vang, at the Northeast Wisconsin Technical College published their Tiny Earth research under microPublication Biology, indexed in the National Library of Medicine. Their research focuses on the antimicrobial activity of the bacterium Paenarthrobacter nicotinovorans.
